1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and The Full Bible ("we," "us," "our," or "Company") regarding your use of The Full Bible mobile application, website (https://thefullbible.com), and any related services (collectively, the "App" or "Service").

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, creating an account, or subscribing to any paid features, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App.

These Terms incorporate by reference our Privacy Policy (https://thefullbible.com/privacy-policy) and any additional terms that may apply to specific features of the App.

2. Description of Service

The Full Bible provides users with access to:

• Complete Biblical Texts: Including canonical books of the Bible, Deuterocanonical/Apocryphal texts, and other historically recognized religious scriptures
• AI-Powered Guidance Feature: An optional feature that analyzes temporary user input to suggest relevant scripture passages for reflection and inspiration
• Reading Tools: Chapter and verse navigation, bookmarking capabilities, and search functionality

3. Eligibility and Account Registration

3.1 Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to use the App. Users under 13 are strictly prohibited from creating accounts or using any features of the App.

3.2 Account Creation

To access the Guidance feature and subscription services, you must create an account using:

• Email address and password (via Magic Link authentication)
• Google Sign-In (OAuth)

This authentication requirement exists to:

• Prevent abuse of the free tier usage limits (2 Guidance sessions per week)
• Link subscriptions to legitimate user accounts
• Maintain account security and prevent unauthorized access

3.3 Account Security

You are solely responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms or is used to abuse the service.

4. Subscriptions, Payments, and Billing

4.1 Free Tier

• 2 sessions per week for authenticated users
• Resets weekly (Sunday at midnight UTC)
• No credit card required

4.2 Pro Subscription

• Price: $4.99 USD per month
• Billing: Monthly recurring subscription
• Features: Unlimited Guidance sessions, priority support

4.3 Payment Processing

• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play account settings
• Refunds: All refund requests are subject to Google Play's refund policies
• Price Changes: We may change subscription pricing with 30 days' advance notice

5. License and Restrictions

5.1 Grant of License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

5.2 License Restrictions

You expressly agree NOT to:

• Copy, modify, create derivative works from, distribute, sell, lease, or sublicense the App
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code
• Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
• Use the App for any commercial purpose without our express written consent
• Scrape, crawl, spider, or use any automated means to access or extract content
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the App

6. Intellectual Property Rights

6.1 Our Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the App, including software, code, design, graphics, logos, trademarks (including "The Full Bible"), and original content are and shall remain the exclusive property of The Full Bible and its licensors.

6.2 Biblical Texts

Biblical texts, translations, and religious scriptures available through the App are either in the public domain, used under applicable open licenses, or used with permission. We make no claim of ownership over these historical/religious texts.

6.3 AI-Generated Content

Guidance responses generated by our AI feature are provided for your personal, non-commercial use only, remain our intellectual property, and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes.

7. User Content and the Guidance Feature

7.1 User Inputs

When you use the Guidance feature, any text you enter is sent temporarily to OpenAI's API for processing, not stored on our servers, and automatically deleted immediately after the AI response is delivered.

7.2 Your Representations

You represent and warrant that your User Inputs:

• Do not violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Do not infringe on any third-party rights
• Do not contain harmful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or objectionable content

7.3 AI Guidance Disclaimer

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the App to:

• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation
• Upload, transmit, or distribute any content that is defamatory, obscene, hateful, or promotes violence
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers or networks connected to the App
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the App
• Use any robot, spider, scraper, or other automated means to access the App
• Introduce any viruses, Trojan horses, worms, or other harmful code

9. Third-Party Services and Links

The App integrates with and relies on third-party services:

Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective Terms of Service and Privacy Policies. We are not responsible for any acts or omissions of third-party providers.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $10.00 USD.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless The Full Bible from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising from your use of the App, your User Inputs, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time using the account deletion feature in the Profile section. We may terminate or suspend your account immediately for any violation of these Terms. Upon termination, subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by Google Play policies or applicable law.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Any dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration in California under the American Arbitration Association rules. You agree to waive any right to a jury trial or class action participation.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. For material changes, we will post a prominent notice in the App and update the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.

15. General Provisions

• These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us
• If any provision is held invalid, the remainder remains in full force
• Our failure to enforce any right does not waive that right
• These Terms do not create any partnership, agency, or joint venture
